If you are
experiencing problems with your Rocket Card please contact the
Campus Card Office immediately. A common problem you may
be having is Privilege Unassigned. This means that
whatever you wanted to use your Rocket Card for, you do not have
the privilege to do so. For example, if you are trying to access
a certain computer lab and are being denied.
If you think that you should have a certain privilege, stop by the Campus
Card Office
and
inform the customer service representative which location you were at when
your card didn't work. They will be able to check your privileges. Some
access will require a letter from the department.
To request
building & room access changes click the "Room & Lab
Access" link at left.

Why can't my parents view my account balance &
activity online?
According to the Family
Educational Rights and Privacy Act we are unable to share this
information. The law is designed to protect the privacy of the
student. The student may however, share the password to his/her
online account, so that a parent can sign on as the student.
My Rocket
Card says "suspended" when I swipe it.
This means the
activity on your Rocket Card has been suspended and you will
need to go to the Campus Card Office with a picture ID to have
your card reactivated. Cards will not be reactivated over the
phone.
I am a full time student but the Student
Recreation Center
says I only have part-time access.
If you are
registered for 12 or more campus classes then you will be
considered full time at the SRC. However if you have any
internet classes added in to make 12 credit hours then you are
not considered full time because students do not pay general
fees on internet classes. Students who are considered part time
at the SRC can pay the difference at $7 a credit hour to the SRC
office to be considered full time. For example if the student
has 10 hours of campus classes they would need to pay $14 to go
full time. If you are full time and your card is not
reading correctly call or stop into the Campus Card Office to
have your card fixed.
I lost my

lost Rocket Card please return it to the Campus Card Office. All
lost and found Rocket Cards are kept on file for as long as
person is an active student or faculty/staff member.
What are
some things I can do to prevent card damage?
Your Rocket Card can be easily damaged if proper
care is not taken. Do not punch holes in the card or apply any
stickers as this will make your Rocket Card unusable and may
damage card reading equipment. If you would like a hole punched
in your Rocket Card, please stop in to the Campus Card Office
and ask one of the customer service representatives to do it.
Also, be sure to keep your Rocket Card away from all magnetic
fields that may demagnetize it. This includes but is not limited
to televisions, stereos, microwaves, credit cards and any other
electromagnetic equipment.
The Rocket
Card works best when it is a straight piece of plastic. It helps
if you don't stick it in your back pocket and sit on it
regularly. It has been found that using a wallet or purse to
store the card prevents bending and increases ease of finding
it.
What do I do if my Rocket Card gets
dirty or is wet?
If
your Rocket Card is dirty at any point in time, clean it with a
damp cloth. Should you ever find that your Rocket Card is wet,
simply wipe the card dry with a non-abrasive cloth.
I am graduating or withdrawing from the
university,
what do I do about my remaining balance on my Rocket Card?
If you are leaving the University
you will need to stop into the Campus Card Office to fill out
the appropriate paperwork to close the account. A check for the
remaining funds will be issued within two weeks. If the money is
